Community Tent Residents

The community Tent at the Gathering will be a place to Meet and Greet those who are connected to the Gathering by ways of Heritage, Location or Interest.  Folks From Friends of Celtic Culture, Chapters of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Dance Schools, Irish cultural Organizations of all configurations will be present.   Dont be shy.. go meet these folks.. you’ll be Happy you did!


Dedicated to the promotion of the music and arts to the Seven Celtic Nations, Ireland; Scotland; Wales, Cornwall; Galicia; Brittany; and the Isle of Man, the Friends of Celtic Culture began its ambitious agenda in 2004. Nearly forty concerts and seminars later, the FCC is thriving and has plans for many new entertaining and edifying activities. The residents of the Great Lakes Bay Region will be treated to exciting bands and speakers that will broaden the region’s knowledge of a very rich and historic culture.

Ancient Order of Hibernians

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization founded concurrently in the coal-mining region of Pennsylvania and New York City in May,1836.  The Order can trace its roots back to a series of similar societies that existed in Ireland for more than 300 years.  Today the AOH exists in America, Canada, Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland, however, while the organizations share a common thread, the American AOH is a separate and much larger organization

The Gathering Welcomes the Flint Sullivan & O’Sullivan Division of the AOH.  We hear this is a Fun group to be around so go test that theory by stopping by and meeting them in the community Tent!
